Associate Professor Nga Min En is a senior consultant pathologist at the National University Hospital and faculty member at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Her expertise lies in cytopathology, with a focus on non-gynecologic cytopathology, including lymph node, thyroid, pancreatic and salivary gland lesions. She is an award-winning educator and creator of Pathweb and the Pathweb Teacher YouTube channel, widely used by learners around the world. A/Prof Nga's excellence in teaching has been recognized with numerous awards, including the NUS Outstanding Educator Award in 2019.

About the course

In this module, you will see demonstrations of various tumors (neoplasms) and premalignant entities. Salient microscopic features of architectural and cytological atypia seen in neoplasms will be demonstrated, so that neoplastic cells can be recognized.
